 The EMRS (Eklavya Model Residential School) Exam Schedule for 2025 has been officially announced. The exam will be conducted offline in multiple shifts on December 13, 14, and 21, 2025. The exam is for recruitment to various teaching and non-teaching posts across India, covering 7,267 vacancies.

Key Details of EMRS Exam Schedule 2025:

Exam Dates: December 13, 14, and 21, 2025

Exam Mode: Offline (OMR-based, pen and paper)

Posts: Includes Principal, Post Graduate Teacher (PGT), Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT), Hostel Warden, Female Staff Nurse, Accountant, Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Lab Attendant, and others.

Exam Cities: Across 83 cities in India

Exam Shifts: Two shifts per day (morning and afternoon)

Morning Shift: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Afternoon Shift: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM

The detailed post-wise and shift-wise schedule will be available after the online application process is closed.

Exam Process:

Tier I (Preliminary Exam): Objective-type questions on general knowledge, reasoning, and subject knowledge.

Tier II (Subject Exam): In-depth subject-specific evaluation (for teaching posts).

Interview/Interaction: For Principal post candidates.

Admit Card:

Candidates will receive admit cards 7 to 10 days before the exam containing exact timings, venue, and shift details.

This exam is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on behalf of the National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS) under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs.
